Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide patients who are uninsured or not using insurance with a "Good Faith Estimate" of the expected charges for medical services. This estimate will be provided before you receive any services.
What You Should Know:
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost.
If you are not using insurance or if you do not have insurance, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
Make sure to save a copy or take a screenshot of your Good Faith Estimate.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
How to Request a Good Faith Estimate:
You can request a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your service.
We will provide a Good Faith Estimate within 3 business days of your request.
